Last weekend was filled with many of the things we are fond of: family, community, fresh produce, blooms + livestock.

The farmers' market was bustling with people and so many colors this time around. We made it with the early crowd and had a lot to choose from. Need rhubarb, they've got it. Friendly farmers with a smile.

One of our favorite vendors, Wild Scallions, always has the most wild + free blooms. Build your own bouquet is always a good idea.

We also stopped by Stone Brothers + Byrd on Geer Street for the essentials, of course.

Our friends at Blue Whistler Farm had their Spring Festival this weekend which included free beer + free range chickens who obviously loved the camera.

My favorite little lady. I mean look at those fluffy, feathered feet.
